Linda Stiglich

Legal assistant Linda Stiglich is an essential part of the ACH team, responsible for everything from running the office and scheduling clients to making sure court documents are complete and filed on time. A Bay Area native, Linda was a secretary at the Contra Costa County public defender’s office before joining the law firm in 1988, around the same time as Ted and Laurel.

During that period, she’s provided behind-the-scenes support for literally thousands of cases. She’s also seen one of her two daughters, inspired by the firm’s work, grow up to become a criminal defense attorney in San Francisco. “The lawyers here really care about the people they work for,” Linda says. “They’re excellent attorneys, but they’re also good human beings.”

Lizette Quintana

Legal secretary Lizette Quintana joined the firm in 2000, while she was still a student majoring in criminal justice at Cal State Hayward. She does everything from greeting clients to preparing documents for trial, and works closely with Cris. “I love my job—the people, the mission, the environment,” she says. “The attorneys are very smart and detail-oriented. But they also treat you way they’d want to be treated, with respect.”

Rachel Perez

Legal secretary Rachel Perez joined the firm in 2004, and is currently studying to be a paralegal. Rachel provides invaluable support to the firm in a variety of ways, from filing pleadings to assisting with trial preparation to managing discovery in document-intensive cases. “I have always had an interest in criminal law, and am particularly pleased to work with attorneys who are such good mentors. They are passionate about their work, and take the time to help their clients in every way they can.”

Patti Cuneo

Receptionist Patti Cuneo joined the firm in July 2009, and has since become a vital member of the team. Patti was born in Argentina — she is an avid soccer fan — and moved to the Bay Area when she was four years old. She has worked as a receptionist for more than twenty years, and at ACH she greets clients and assists the attorneys with trial preparation. Patti has worked for several businesses around the Bay Area, but says that she has especially enjoyed working at ACH because of the “close-knit, team-oriented atmosphere.”
