Missouri native Julie Salamon joined the firm in 2002. A 2000 graduate of Boalt Hall School of Law, she received the Order of the Coif and was a star pupil in a criminal trial practice seminar taught by Cris Arguedas. Julie was also Senior Articles Editor for the Berkeley Women’s Law Journal and a member of the California Law Review. After graduating, Julie clerked for the Honorable David F. Levi of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California, and worked as a litigation associate at Farella Braun + Martel.

At ACH, Julie’s formidable analytical and advocacy skills make her an important member of the team in complex white-collar cases, where she works closely with Cris and Ted. Her quick grasp of new and difficult material has proven invaluable, as she has become the team’s expert in everything from Generally Accepted Accounting Principles to Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. Julie also handles a range of misdemeanor and felony cases—including assault, prescription drug fraud, and drunk driving—with input from other members of the team.

“From DUI cases to murder cases, everything is done with incredible attention to detail,” Julie says. “We scrutinize every piece of evidence to find the one thing that can break a case and help us get the best possible result for the client. People here do not give up.”
